Synopsis:

“It’s my first case—I’m so excited! I’m Annie Imes, wife of the famous detective Johnny Imes. All those years following Johnny while he solved cases has totally prepared me for this case: “Prove the existence of God.” Now, I know people have been asking if God exists for years… um, decades… okay, pretty much since time began. But the answers have to be out there… somewhere… hmmm… maybe this could be a bit challenging. I think I’ll ask Johnny to tag along….”

Cast:

Annie Imes - 20s to 40s – Comes across as Johnny’s ditsy blonde secretary but is a good detective in her own right. She tends to ramble on and on. Her compassion for others is her most endearing trait.

Johnny Imes - 20s to 50s – A strong, quick-witted private eye who is not afraid to take on any case. It is the middle of the Great Depression and Johnny and Annie, who is also his wife, barely get by.

Tony - 20s to 30s – A young thug who is drunk with power and blind obedience to mob boss Alvin Santago. He is not the brightest of men.

Dr. Staininski - 30s to 60s – A very intelligent man which makes him a little eccentric. He is a little socially awkward and likes to laugh at his own jokes.

We are looking for actors, directors, producers and theatre-savvy folks who would like to use their gifts for God’s kingdom.

Fishnet Theatre is a touring Christian theatre company that travels all around Western Washington. However, our influence on the Olympic Peninsula has been limited because all of our performers live on the other side of Puget Sound. We would like to expand to the PA/Sequim area and utilize local talent to reach local churches!

Tentatively, we are scheduling a tour on the Olympic Peninsula for August of 2012. Rehearsals would be in the evenings twice a week for half of May through July.

Yes, this is quite a ways out there, but for planning purposes, we need to know who would be interested.

We have an informational meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 27 at 5:00 p.m.

Fishnet Theatre will provide dinner!

The meeting will be at Sequim Worship Center at 640 N. Sequim Ave. It will only last 90 minutes.

Come see if this would work for you! We would love to see PA/Sequim with their own unit touring the area!

Please call to let us know if you can make it.
